What needed to change
The TYDE needed to attract and retain residents by offering a modern, connected living experience. The property required more than just individual systems — it needed a unified technology platform where security, access, communication, and entertainment all worked together seamlessly for both tenants and property management.
The solution
What we delivered
Media Nexus designed and installed a comprehensive technology infrastructure covering every aspect of the property. At the gate, a Comelit touch-screen video intercom directory was integrated directly with the PDK access control system, giving property management a single interface for managing residents and credentials — no separate databases, no double entry. Access control was extended to amenity areas, the pool deck, and vehicle gates using PDK mobile touch readers with long-range vehicle access. Enterprise-level security cameras (4MP and 8MP) with advanced analytics and a 48TB RAID5-configured NVR provide redundant, reliable surveillance coverage. A structured data network with indoor and outdoor WiFi access points ensures connectivity throughout the property. Commercial-grade LG and Samsung displays were installed in the lobby, lounge, and pool areas, while a JBL pendant speaker system powered by Soundcraft amplification and a BlueSound commercial music streamer delivers background audio across all public spaces. DBX DSP processing ensures clean, consistent sound in every zone.

The result
The TYDE now operates as a fully integrated smart property. Property management controls access, security, AV, and communications from unified platforms, saving significant staff time and eliminating the friction of managing disconnected systems. Residents benefit from a premium living experience — seamless entry, high-quality audio and video in shared spaces, and reliable connectivity — that directly supports tenant satisfaction and retention. The integrated architecture also positions the property for future expansion without requiring a technology overhaul.
