Security Cameras

Thousands of security cameras are installed every year by facilities and business owners that understand the power of having true 24-hour video surveillance capability. Our solutions detect intruders from great distances, giving security forces more time to react and respond as well as provide the law enforcement with the data they need to identify and locate intruders.

Coupled with state-of-the-art surveillance technologies such as Deep Learning, you’ll have an interlocking web of video tools for intrusion detection, alarm verification, and forensic evidence gathering that is all but critical.

What Is Deep Learning Technology?

Deep learning is a type of machine learning that trains a computer to perform human-like tasks, such as recognizing speech, classifying images, detecting objects, and even describing content. A real-life example is virtual assistants such as Siri and Cortana that are powered, in part, by deep learning.

Instead of organizing data to run through predefined equations, deep learning sets up basic parameters about the data and trains the computer to learn on its own by recognizing patterns using layers of processing. Fast developments of algorithms, neural networks, human-machine interfaces and computing power are now taking deep learning applications to new heights.

Deep learning has swept through the security industry too, enabling a number of solutions to support enhanced site security and operational efficiency. The benefits of deep learning for attribute recognition and image classification make it enormously valuable in the field of security. It touches on every aspect of the security industry – from facial and vehicle detection to behavior analysis.

Deep Learning Technology Includes These Features:

Facial Recognition
Facial recognition can be employed in many security and management scenarios within a variety of applications to alert system operators to the presence of persons of interest. This technology protects applications of utmost importance, such as in security checkpoints, train stations, airports, stadiums, and financial institutions.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
ANPR automatically captures a car’s license plate in real time, compares or adds it to a pre-defined list and then takes appropriate action such as opening a gate, adding a cost, or generating an alert. In the past, ANPR has been costly, unreliable and only relevant for a limited number of applications. Now cameras engineered with a deep learning algorithm and GPU processing enable very accurate ANPR. The cameras self-learn the number plate information within a scene and recognize a larger amount of number plates than conventional ANPR systems, without the often cumbersome camera positioning adjustments.

People Counting
People-Counting Camera comes equipped with dual lenses while harnessing the power of Deep Learning algorithms for binocular stereo vision, 3D people detection, and tracking and height-filtering technologies.
Our binocular stereo vision technology constructs a three-dimensional scene by utilizing the parallax of two images taken with a dual-lens camera. When the target is detected, the Dual-Lens People-Counting Camera acquires real-world dimensions of the target by computing positional deviation from corresponding points in the scene and capturing the moving target according to three characteristics of the human body – head, shoulders, and stature. The camera can further identify two persons (as long as there is space between their heads). In addition to this, shadows or other objects will not cause miscounts in the data.

False Alarm Filter - Object Detection
Some of the most desirable benefits of deep learning algorithms include achieving comparable or even better-than-human pattern recognition accuracy, strong anti-interference capabilities, and the ability to classify and recognize thousands of features.
Object such as animals, leaves, or even light changes can cause false alarms, so being able to identify the presence of a human shape vastly improves the accuracy of perimeter-focused VCAs. With this large amount of quality training data, human, vehicle, and object pattern recognition models become more and more accurate for video surveillance use.
